I like 3D gaming at my free time. My daugther is a big fun of some 3D games under Linux as well! All was perfect under Fedora 10 on our MSI EX400X notebook with ATI Radeon HD3450 GPU inside, but ... after upgrade to Fedora 12 our life was changed to the worse direction with gaming... And, this happened not only for us, but for many other people! :-(
The reason? It's about bug #1696 "current ATI driver doesnt work on fedora 12" on Unofficial ATI Linux Driver Bugzilla! For sake of simplicity it seems, like the business decision not to support Fedora! People suggest, that when nVidia make the effort to provide proprietary drivers to the "non-free" repos for FC someone at AMD/ATI corporate should start thinking about product competition.
So, the most suggested solution here is: "wait and see"! Hm-m-m, all of us are waiting for already more, than 3 months, and I'm not going to wait anymore further!
